Hello all,

Hopefully this will be the last "accessories for my shotgun" question that I ask ;)

I'm seriously thinking about getting a Surefire forend. I realize that they are made for shotguns but how do they hold up in the long run? Has anyone shot the bejesus out of a gun with one attached? The light will cost almost as much as my gun so I'm a tad hesitant.

Thanks!

Class, I own several ST/Wilson 870s in the old "FBI Model" config. The first two are several (OK a little more than several--how come I keep getting older, geez) years old.

Both are in excellent shape after several classes and years of being banged around on the practice range and one very scary night. I have not noticed any harm after untold amounts of bird, buck and slugs.

Concur with El Tejon. My first one has been on a work 870 since late '94. It's been shot hard & alas abused at work & when traveling. Aside from bulbs & batteries, there hasn't been any problems.
