I have these two Marlin Camp Carbines (9 & 45) which I like a lot but their wood stocks are a little fragile and I dion't want to scratch/ding them. I don't want a Choate folder since my Keltec and High point fill that role. What I would really like is a fiberglass filled polymer clone of each stock. Is it possible/feasible to have someone laser scan these stocks and reproduce them on CNC equipment in a synthetic material? Who would do this kind of work and what woud it cost?

I know this is a pipe dream but I thought I would ask.
