First of all I'd like to thank everyone who responded to my thread.
I did not trade either the P226R or the PX4, I traded in my Trailside as I rarely shoot the .22 caliber anymore and the gunshop gave me $25 less than what I paid for it. I was severly low-balled on the 226.
I purchased the unfired (except for the factory test), made in Germany 228 that came in a SIG black box. I was suprised to see a German test target included. Looks good to me!
Um, er, well..........I also purchased a CPO SIG 229 in .40 because after shooting the 229 range gun, I fell in love. This madness must stop! :eek:
