My new kid on the block is a Beretta 21A Bobcat in .22 LR. (I know, I know,....I should just keep my 1911 in my front pocket and be done with it.:D )

I'd like to get a decent pocket holster for this little gem, and I need some input.

I like leather, but I found the F.I.S.T. Kydex #5 to be a quality item, and affordable. I like Kramer also, but it's 2X the money. Any other suggestions?

...But I have their 'Sting' model for my Kel-Tec. It's leather, and carries a spare mag. It fits in a front pants pocket and prints like a wallet. I know the mag in the strong side pocket is difficult to get to, but it's the shape hiding I wanted. Put the spare mag in the weak side pocket and cut a piece of wood for the holster.

I've used a Galco pocket holster (.38 snubbie) for years if you must have leather. It holds the gun snugly.

I also carry (pocket) with a Mikas holster. This one doesn't grip the revolver quite as snugly, but I can draw the weapon faster.

I know you can buy the Mikas for a semi-auto. As far as Galco, you'll have to check out their web site.

So...there's two to consider. The Galco is quite a bit more expensive then the Mikas, BTW.

I have a Kramer leather for a Jetfire 950 .25, and that fits well, but has one flaw that needs to be corrected before use...the depression that fits around the barrel release needs to be filed, or it will cause the barrel to release, pop up and toss away the chambered round when the gun is drawn.

The smallest size of Uncle Mike's synthetic fits perfectly, too.

I bought a DeSantis nylon type Pocket holster awhile back for my KelTec P40.. I never have used it for my P40. I always use it for my Beretta 21 or KelTec P32, IMO it fits them each good. I have no issues with my DeSantis, and use it on a regular basis with the Beretta or P32.

))))1wildbill vs. 1widbill, still waiting for the change((((

Ditto that, however I am thinking about inside out leather though, or something more sticky, as the uncle mike's requires your left hand to press on the holster for a second or it comes with the gun. But wonder it something like that would just pull the pocket inside out? Depends on the pants I suppose. Also want something with a rectangular outside cover to hide imprint a bit better. I don't like kydex because of how it wears the finish.

Advice, check your state laws first. In some states, "any holster or device that conceals and/or disguises the outline of the gun" is illegal. Wallet holsters went away for that reason...though that might have been federal?

Same goes for those PocketSlipper lasers for some mouseguns that make them into a square shape. Apparently can't have them in some states, I'd heard.

The DeSantis Nemisis is very sticky and is a very good pocket holster for the money. RJ Hedley, K&D, or Kramer all make good leather pocket holsters with Hedley being my favorite for carrying my Rohrbaugh R9.

I purchase a Desantis Nemesis holster for every gun that I own (if they make it), as well as my lady's guns. This includes:

Kahr MK9
Keltec P3AT
Sig P232
Makarov

They are excellent in the pocket, and I really just like keeping guns in them to lay on a nightstand or in a drawer. I wish they made them for fullsize guns just for storage purposes. For under $20 I'd buy one for my fullsize guns as well.

I carry in an Andrews leather pocket holster. Keeps the gun clean and properly positioned. It is contoured to fit your leg and is flat on the outside, masking the gun. Sam Andrews is a superb craftsman and a super nice guy with and excellent reputation. His prices are reasonable too. www.andrewsleather.com .
