Don't want to hijack the thread but I was going to start a new one on this subject.
Are these bags of pretty good quality? I have just recently seen these products in some local shops and they seem nice. Just wondering if they will hold up?

Helmie, the president of i-SHOT, is not only one heck of a great guy, he's also a member here, using the screenname i-SHOT (who'd a thunk it?).
You can find all of his products, which are superbly designed and backed by some of the best customer service in the industry on their website.

I use a stanley 19" toolbox when I go to the range. $10 at walmart. Leaves a lot left over for targets.

I would say most definitly yes.
I've had my i-shot bag for ~3 years now, and love it. Also still looks like new.

If you want a black bag try the Uncle Mikes deluxe range bag, holds three guns and lots of ammo etc, etc.
Mine was $45. I may have got a deal though.

Very good. I have the Tournament bag in black/gray and don't have one bad thing to say about it after a couple of years. IIRC the T-bag has been redesigned and is now the Modular.
Okay, it's almost too big - 4 or 5 guns, spotting scope, tripod, muffs, cleaning stuff, water bottle, stapler, targets, about 8 loaded mags, etc. I could get my boxed ammo in with all this stuff, but I still carry it in those $8 canvas tool/ammo bags from the gun show.

I've used everything from Craftsman tool bags to Eddie Bauer duffels...until my wonderful wife gave me the "pro" version of the i-shot a couple of years ago at Christmas.
I have nothing but good things to say about it. It'll hold four guns w/o problem, has two padded slots built into the removable insert, and comes with two additional padded sleeves. Well thought out components, every conceivable tweak is built in. The removable range insert is handy, can hold as much ammo as you could comfortably carry, in a side pocket it holds a bunch of magazines. Zippers are heavy duty, lockable, and the top dual-zipper layout gives excellent wide-open access to the bulk of the bag.
It has a weird characteristic though....it is always a lot lighter when I leave the range...how'd they do that?

The i-shot is a teriffic range bag. I got the modular one in grey and black. Helmie was at the store/range where I shoot and introduced himself and asked how I liked it, etc. They're great folks and carry quality products (which are occasionally out of stock, unfortunately.)
