Howdy, everybody,

Quick question:

Does anyone know if the Ciener conversions made for the Taurus PT-92/99 9mm pistols will work on the .40 cal. PT-100 pistols?

Thanks in advance,
~GnSx

P.S. ~ Anyone else think that the www.22lrconversions.com website could use a hefty dose of de-uglysticking? It works well enough, but... ugh.

Hey Gunny,
I looked them up online and got a phone number and called them cause I have a 101. They had a very polite message that said they may choose to answer or return phone calls but that they'd prefer if you just ordered online or ****ed off.:fire: :banghead: Needless to say I didn't get any reply. It is my understanding that the diff between the 92/99 and 100/101 is that within the caliber models its just sights, and from one cal to the next its just the slide and bbl.?? As I understand it the slide assy off a 92 will fit a 100/101 but only the whole assy. because of the case head diameter. If you find out I'd like to know also. Maybe I'll call the bastards again.:cuss: Makes you wonder if they give a **** or not about their customers or products for that matter. There is also another company that makes the units but I don't recall the name offhand.:scrutiny:

I found this thread it is old but thought Id try anyway.
Anyone have this or the advantage arms one?

I have both and seem to have some difficulty with the various ammo, they recommend the 40 grain high vel. but still some problems with it.

If it happened in a carry pistol, I would not own it.:uhoh: had some go boom in the open chamber due to faulty feeding and the slide set off the rimfire, not good.

I tried to get in touch with them as others have mentioned, :rolleyes:so I faxed um. :D

I have not been here in awhile, still the same old me. If I don't hear from them I am going to make some noise:cuss: on the forum about it. Not that it will do any good but it might.:D
