I think I may have found a front sling side mount at Sage Int'l. (http://sageinternationalltd.com/si/wepacc/wepacc.html) for anyone that has been looking for one. I was to accomodate a tactical sling and no one else makes them for the Winchester. I have contacted them and the part should be on the way soon so I can see if it is what I needed.

The Choate or TacStar "barrel clamp" sling swivel mounts are available for the Winchester. I've had one on my Defender for a few years, and it works fine if you mount a thin strip of rubber inside to prevent marring the barrel.

Although those I mention are available, I certainly appreciate this post, as there a lots of goodies on your pages I do "need" :) I definitely like the rear sling mount for the SpeedFeed IV-s. I was wondering how I was going to do that!!

Update. According to Karen at Sage Int'l. my $10.50 part is on the way. This is a picture of it.

I also ordered a --Buttstock Shell Holder w/ Dedicated Sling Remington 870-- from CQB Solutions. The two pieces together should give me the proper tac sling setup. I'll let everyone know.

I can't for the life of me figure out why noboby, and I mean NOBODY, sells a tactical sling for a Winchester. Everything is Remington this or Remington that or Mossberg this or Mossberg that. That really bites...
