Howdy!

Now pards I ain't no cynic, far from it! But do ya suppose the fact that Springfield has had ton of ads in the various NRA publications over the past year had any effect??

Lots of companies have had lots of ads. Not that I don't think that ad revenue can influence editorial stance - it can.

However, in this case, I doubt that that is a problem. From ALL reports, the XD45 is an outstanding pistol, and can easily be voted Handgun of the Year on its own merits.
