Reloading .38 S&W

Hi, I have long been considering getting into reloading and will probably be getting a basic single-stage kit before the end of the year (one I find some space). The question that I have is this:

I have a Webley Mk. IV in .38 S&W and ammo is hard to find for it. Assuming that I could find the brass, would I be able to reload .38 special bullets? Also, where should I start looking for reloading data on the .38 S&W? I wouldn't try to run anything too hot through a 60 year old gun, but some nice hollow-point rounds would be good for small game.

Thanks for your help,

Thefabulousfink

Thanks wolf_from_wv,

That was exactly what I needed, I just didn't know where to look. I love this gun, it is a great shooter and I think it has the makings of a nice little woods gun (along w/ a rifle incase of bear). I can't wait to get set up and start reloading, rather than paying Bubba Jo-bob $12 a box for his crappy reloads at the gun show.:uhoh:

Use soft lead bullets since the hard lead bullets have a hard time gripping the rifling in the barrel. the 38 S&W uses .361 bullets instead of .357 bullets. Hard .357 bullets work, but accuracy is tearable. Soft lead expands and seals the bore much better. Just my experience.
