I am looking in to getting some nice rosewood grip inserts. I have looked at the Lett inserts which are nice but Rugers website shows inserts available through them that are the same ones on the GP 100 which are nice also, What route should i take ? any Opinions? Thanks.

You can easily order the grip inserts from Ruger.

Be careful on which GP-100 inserts you order, the GP-100 has two different sizes of grips and inserts and only one is compatible with the SP-101. The Fixed sight GP-100's come with a smaller rubber grip that has inserts the same size as the SP-101, the adjustable sight GP has a larger grip and panels. Also, the smaller grip itself from the GP does not fit the SP but the grip panels do.

I do believe the inserts offered by Ruger are made by Lett! :)
