I found a used mossberg 500A in the shop today. It has wood stocks and looks really nice. I want to find a set like those for my 500 cruiser. These looked identical to the synthetic ones on the persuader and cruiser models, except that they are a nicer hardwood laminate instead of black synthetics.

I cant afford another shotgun otherwise i'd just pick this one up.

Anyone know were i can find a set?

Mossberg sells them - see http://www.mossberg.com/acatalog/conversions.htm for details. Scroll down to the stocks. If you don't see what you want, call them - there are more options available.

Check with "Soup to Nuts" gun shop in Grand Rapids MN. They have a number of different wood furnature for shot guns. If they don't have it I'm sure they can get it. It is one of my favorite gun shops in Minnesota.

Then do searchs on-line to see what it comes up with. Hope this helps! :)

I think Brownell's has what you're looking for.I got a Hogue rubber stock and fore-end and put it on my Cruiser, but if you pull up the 500 schematic I believe you can order wood.

Oh,yep,here it is...they aren't cheap though....http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/schematics/schemmfg.aspx?schemid=160&m=10&mn=Mossberg%c2%ae&model=500A%2c+12+Gauge+
