Another Scope Mounting Question

I just bought a nice little Bushnell 4x28 for my Marlin Model 60 SS.
The wife likes usiing the iron sights, while I like using the scope (her eyes are better than mine)
Once I site the scope in, what can I use to mark the proper position of the scope when the scope comes off for the wife / cleaning, etc.
Thanks

Even with a detachable mount, most users will find that the scope is no longer zeroed after being taken off. However, with a detachable mount, you will still be relatively close (hopefully).
Without one, I think you'd be lucky to be on the paper.
I would suggest either a detachable mount, or see-through mounts that allow you to use both.
Just my two cents,

Weaver use to make a swing-a-way scope base/rings (pivot mounts?) so that you could pivot the entire scope to the left side of the receiver, keeping your zero and still using your iron sights. It worked great, I had one mounted on a 30/40 Krag to allow removal of the bolt. They have to be out there somewhere, try old gun shops.
