Has anyone out there tried wolf ammo in their .45acp XD? I'm looking to pick up a bunch for cheap plinking, but wanted to get an overall consensus from any of you who have shot it through the XD platform before dropping the cash.

Ran 100 rounds of Wolf polymer coated 230 gr FMJ thru my brand new XD45 without problems. Gun also fed my 200gr cast lead SWC reloads and 230gr Ranger Talon without a glitch although I had two light primer hits on the reloads (no issues with these loads in any of my 1911s). One of my four mags was binding (preventing the rounds from comming up into proper position), but it seems to have resolved by the fourth or fifth loading. Looking forward to next time out with it.

Initial time out, I've very impressed by the XD45, mine's the 5" barrel "tactical" model.

Mine fires the Wolf just fine, but for some reason when I fire the Wolf I'm all over the paper. I can't explain it.

No problem with ~150rnds of the polymer coated Wolf through my XD45 so far (850rnds to go). Recoil seems a bit "softer" than the standard WWB range ammo, and the Wolf is a little dirtier, but no feeding problems at all.

Ive fired nothing but Wolf through my XD45 since I got it a couple months ago. Ive put probably 300 rounds through it with no misfires or anything. As far as accuracy I havent shot anything else out of it but This gun is very accurate. This is my first XD and they are easy to shoot and aim.

Thanks for all of your information! Hope you all enjoy shooting the XD as much as I have thus far.
