What might I expect to pay for a M1A oprod these days? I tried to get one on Ebay last year, and got outbid everytime, and now you can't even find one on there.

If you want a Springfield Inc. manufactured operating rod contact them direct.
Since you list a business signature they will sell at dealer discount.
USGI M14 operating rods are still out there but they are going up in price and condition is everything.
$80.00 to $100.00 for used and finish worn.
New in wrap and depending on Manufacturer. USGI operating rods can go as high as $300.00, maybe more. HTH

Sarco and others sell parts. You might check out Sarco's web site or pick up a Shotgun News for the advertisements.
