Right now my favorite gun is the Glock 17, but that will probably change over the years as a buy a gagilion guns or so. :D

Its like picking a favorite kid. You just can't.
April 27, 2006, 07:04 PM
Second gen Glock22. I got it used as a LE trade in from AIM. It looked brand new but had been fired some. Thousands of rds later, factory and reloads, it has never had a hiccup of any kind. It's my "go to" pistol. Super accurate too.
April 27, 2006, 07:08 PM
Can we have subsections? :D
April 27, 2006, 07:14 PM
Favorite...hmm.. why do you make me choose? I have so many favorites..
Heres a couple
these are something like the holy grail for me, I find them absolutely incredible but practically unobtainable, the stuff dreams are made of.
I'm kind of fickle in that my favorite is usually the one I'm shooting or the last one I bought.
Although this has to be about at the top.
But in the last few weeks this has certainally been a favorite.:)
My "favorite gun" can (and sometimes does) vary; but right now its the
1911 .45 ACP that John Moses Browning invented~!:D
April 28, 2006, 06:49 AM
Hard to choose, I really like HK's, so the P7M13 wins for handgun and the G36K as long gun.
April 28, 2006, 06:59 AM
Couldn't say. I like and shoot them all. But one I like alot is an accurized Remington 700 VSSF in .308 (no longer made) with a 3.5-10X Leupold Vari-X III LRT with mil dots in Badger Ordnance rings. Half MOA accurate or better, that I've shot out to 900 yards.
April 28, 2006, 07:06 AM
FAMAS with light and scope attachment. Hard to beat a bullpup in the NATO caliber.
April 28, 2006, 07:13 AM
As many have said before, they are all my favorites...
But to pick out one from the rest....
My Model 94 30 WCF...she's my sweetie. :)
April 28, 2006, 07:42 AM
Right now it's my S&W Mod. 19. I'm relatively new to shooting and I'm not a very good shot, but I had a really good session with that gun about a week ago.
If new magazines solve my Kimber's (occasional) FTF problems, it would probably be my favorite. That 1911 is the gun I shoot the best with.
April 28, 2006, 09:59 AM
Rifle class - These in any form, as long as they're HKs:
In pistol class - (with silencer&laser+light):
SMG class -
Ruger P89, my very first pistol, I'll always have fond memories of it, and yes, I still shoot it...
Ruger P90, the bedside gun loaded with 8 rounds of 230-grain Hydra-Shok .45ACP goodness
Ruger SP101, even when she's loaded with full-power .357 Mag
Springfield GI .45, my first 1911
Kimber Tactical Ultra II, frighteningly accurate, will be my first carry gun when I get the CHL
Oh, wait, yeah, that's the entirety of my collection...for now, anyway...:D
Oh, and 1911JMB?
"Its like picking a favorite kid. You just can't."
+1 to the 10th power.
April 28, 2006, 11:15 AM
Love them all.
I love my Springfield Armory TRP Operator 1911A1 the best though... :)
April 28, 2006, 06:17 PM
Favorite in my collection? Ruger Single Six.
Favorite small arm ever? Probably the Peacemaker or the MG42.

Win. M70 featherweight 30-06. First gun I ever owned. I got to pick it from my dad's gun collection as a gift on my 18th birthday.
April 28, 2006, 06:48 PM
Four years ago, after my Dad died, my 80 year old uncle let me have my Grand Father's 12 gauge Fulton Hunter shotgun. My Dad, and his five brothers grew up with it!! I have numerous firearms that are much higher value, but it means the world to me. It is a 97 year old gun that STILL shoots great! My brother asked me if I was going to have it "re-done", and display it. I won't. I'm going to shoot it, take meat home, just like it was meant to!!!!

" M2 Carbine -- where'd you get the gorgeous wood on that Garand?"
When I bought the M1 (from a bank in 1971) the front hand guard was darker wood. Some years later I found a matching hand guard. I've never been able to find a top matching hand guard.
I don't remember what wood that is but I've seen it on a few other M1's, although mine is the best looking grain pattern I've ever seen.
I thought it might be an aftermarket stock but I was told by a knowledgeable M1 collector that it's original (he had one).

Right now it is my Colt Woodsman 1st series...
Mostly it is my S&W 13 3".
For Rifles it would be my Marlin 1894C, makes for a great companion to my S&W.
My Marlin 39M falls next.
April 29, 2006, 09:17 AM

But I am sure that will Change when I get the Browning Cynergy for Clays!
some stock photo i found off google. mine has no flash suppressor just the 3-lug for my suppressor attachment (AWC Tac-Nine). i have a knights armament rail system with forward vertical knight's (KAC) grip with a daniel defense offset flashlight mount with surefire 6p. also double HK factory mag clamp to hold two 30-rounders. and of course magpuls on the mags.
for pistols i love my Kimber TLE/RL-II 1911 .45 ACP pistol. that thing is a freakin tack driver. i have a Streamlight aluminum light mounted on the accessory rail as well and it rides in a Safariland 6000 series holster.

My "go to gun"? CZ75B .40 S&W duo-tone (stainless frame, park/blued slide). Very accurate, never fails to run and keeps running.. Not uncommon to shoot 200-300 rounds through it nearly every weekend.
The absolute, never part with, pass to the kids, pry from my cold dead hands gun?
Actually, it's two:
1890 Winchester pump in 22WRF. Bought new by my great-grandfather in Tennessee in 1920 (have the paperwork), still shoot and fairly accurate.
The other is an Arisaka mod. 44 calvary carbine made in about 1928 in 6.5X50 Jap. Brought back by other grandfather. I got ammo, know where it shoots and shoot it often. Real loud and a great conversation starter at the range.
April 30, 2006, 03:53 AM
Favorite gun of all (that I would love to have):
M60 (I toted this bad boy in the Army and really miss it)
April 30, 2006, 05:12 AM
This one's a late-model 1928A1, possibly one of the very last before production switched to the M1. Although I prefer the 1928AC (vertical foregrip like the 1921s, but slower rate of fire than those voracious fire-breathers), I think y'all get the point...
Mind you, this weapon belongs to a friend in another state who's a Class 2 FFL, photo'd while I was visiting his workshop. Unfortunately, my current AO has a [uninteligible] NFA ban. Freakin' anti-gun Commie LIEberals...
Favorite I can actually own around here: Give me a good, solid GI-spec Government Model. Or maybe a longslide 1911...
Just my personal opinion.

When all else misses...
April 30, 2006, 02:08 PM
Like 1911JMB said, it's like trying to pick a favorite child. I've got a soft spot for every gun I own. BUT:
If I had to choose a favorite gun, it'd be my Kimber Gold Match .45. Accurate, reliable, simple good looks, and it just feels so right!
If I could only keep one gun I now have, it'd be my late father's Remington Model 33 that he got new in 1931. It's the least valuable gun in my safe, but it could never be replaced.
April 30, 2006, 05:45 PM
i've always like any sort of 1911 style .45, even though i dont have one yet. My current favorites are my Glock 17 and my Marlin Model 1894SS.
April 30, 2006, 06:57 PM
Out of my collection I would have to say my Savage 111 in 30-06 with a Nikon Prostaff 3x-9x scope. After that my Winchester Model 1895 in 30-40 which was my father's until he passed away about 4 years ago and after these two any of the rest that I have depends on which one I have in my hands at the time.
April 30, 2006, 10:20 PM
Beretta Cougar 8000F 9mm.Excellent fit, accuracy, and reliability.Awesome pistol.
April 30, 2006, 10:41 PM
Without upsetting any of my "babies", I'll just pick the one I carry the most. My Colt, stainless officers 45. It keeps my backup, Tomcat company.
