(Mods: sorry if commercial)

For you members of the 28ga cult: Saw a Traditions 28ga yesterday at Cabele's in Wheeling. Used, 26" O/U IC & Mod. $569 IRRC. Looked good, didn't handle it. I was afraid I'd get trampled if any cult members happened by!

They had saome REALLY nice used shottys.

Stay safe.
Bob

Made by Baikal, IIRC. Don't know if the price was good or not. I picked up a used Baikal 28 ga SXS last summer for $350. Sweet gun, swings and points like pointing your finger. Action is really tight, still, after several hundred rounds. Opening and closing is quite a chore for the wife during a round of SC.

Yes, she uses it for Sporting Clays. She won't use anything else. :)

In my experience, Cabela's can be quite high on some guns (Makarov $359!) and very reasonable on others. 870HD only shotty in the safe right now, need to pick up a double!

The Gun Library at the Michigan Cabelas has some beautiful firearms on hand. From classic high-end doubles to NIB Ed Brown Cobra Carry 1911's.

Unfortunately their used gun selection (outside the gun library) gets smaller and smaller every time I visit. Mostly muzzle loaders, old russian 1969 .22 rifles and a few auto shuckers in wetlands camo.

If you plan on getting used stuff from there, do it now. The store here went from about 8 racks (each holding about 70 - 80 long guns) to one.
