Newport 410

I was at the Kalamazoo, Mi Gun & Knife show at purchased a Newport 410. It is a single shot. It is a very solid gun. The is a serial number behind the trigger cover, but that is the only other markings. How old is this gun or when were they produced. It is very clean and shoots good. I picked this one up for 65 bucks. Is this a deal?
