If I understand this correctly, organizations such as the NRA will be unable to send out mailers near election day. I think those mailers have always helped our cause in the form of a last minute reminder for people that aren't fighting for the 2nd ammendment rights on a daily basis. Just a thought, does anyone have any ideas on how to remedy the loss of these last minute reminders? I doubt people that post here would need a reminder, but how can we reach the passive gun owners?

Yep. Its illegal to provide voter guides within 60 days IIRC of a federal election. 60 days just happens to correspond to when the electorate begins to pay attention.

I expect well-healed organizations such as the NRA, ACLU, etc will push the law and air illegal ads.

I bought into a timeshare condo on Hilton Head. No way I could full ownership of anything on HHI so a bought a small part of a property. I wonder is someone could create the same concept for illegal campaign ads. I'd buy into an illegal ad just to make point.

Yea, Bush signed it and he ought to pay the price. First class example of moral cowardice.

I believe the NRA has a lawsuit on the books challenging this law. Anyone have any more info.

The N.R.A. and a great many organizations have filed suit against this law. The N.R.A. was first.
