Steyr M series...hands down...the worlds most naturally pointing handgun. Finally a natural grip angle. After you shoot the steyr, every other gun seem to be pointing down.

The Springfield XD series is the most natural for me. I can point-shoot accurately enough to keep rapid-fire shots in a paper plate-sized area out to about 10 feet, and on a torso-sized area out to about 20.

Pardini SP

Those are hands-down the most natural-pointing pistols I have ever picked up.

As for combat pistols, I'd have to go with CZ-75, 1911, Steyr M-Series. No surprise on the Steyr M-series. Word is that they hired a guy from Pardini to help with the ergonomics.

I'll have to agree with the Steyr M series (I'd assume the S series too)
Nobody's mentioned the Ruger MKII

Also pretty much any Freepistol I've ever picked up.

Cool, Keepem comin:D

I thought about this question after shooting my Steyr M40 and then picking up my Ruger P89. The Ruger seemed to point down, bad. It's still fun to shoot though, I keep it around as a plinker.

So my vote goes for my Steyr.

In order of preference:

Ruger Mk II with good grips.

Any 1911.

Redhawk with Hogue wood grips.

My bro-in-laws first year of production (stamped slide) Sig 226 with Pachymar grips (wish the slide catch was somewhere else).

Ruger MKII and Luger, those extreme angles just feel better than the 45 degree angle of the 1911 and most other semi-auto handguns. Since you said handgun and not semi-auto, I think a lot of revolvers will point perfectly for most people with the right grip.

If you have ever actually shot one --- You WILL agree.
The German Luger
Best, easiest, most natural pointer ever.

CZ-75, without a doubt.

Close second would be the 1911.

The most natural feeling pistols I've shot are my grandfather's Luger and my dad's High Standard. I was going to mention my S&W 686, but I think I may be biased on that one because I have so much fun shooting it. I held my buddies CZ75BD with rubber grips (Hogue I think) and that thing felt like it melted in my hand, but I didn't shoot it so the grip I had may have been too relaxed.

These in almost a three-way tie:
Ruger P95 (with Hogue slip-on grip points itself).
Springfield XD (more accurate, points well)
1911 (very good pointer)

The worst?
Glock 19 (the worst for me - grip is wrong, wrong, wrong)
Luger (not much better - not enough weight out front)
Ruger Mark II (accurate, but still too abrupt a grip angle)

Sig 226.. best out of the box no brainer went where I wanted it to go every time in SA mode.. it was the DA mode I didn't like.

BHP, 1911

While I grew up on a Ruger Mk1/Mk2 the Luger doesn't point well for me.
