How did you manage to get off work on a Saturday? Was there a fire or something? :scrutiny:

:neener:

BTW, I'm sure everyone knows by now but Big Town posts proper 30.06 signage now.

Of course... why would you want to let people carry at a gun show... :banghead:

Techbrute, set up the breakfast. Sounds good.

HighVelocity....I will "work it out". And yeah, I know they post....so did the darn Denton show though.....

It's just the principal of it. Why make it illegal for CHL holders to carry CONCEALED. :banghead:

Probably some kind of liability/insurance thing. The lawyers put the fear into everyone. ;)

I'm curious. Does anyone know who owns Big Town Exhibition Hall?

Didn't the city take all that stuff over with some while back?

Just wondering if it belongs to a government.

They were posting at Will Rogers for a while too but that building belongs to Ft Worth and they CAN NOT post on government owned property.

There was some question whether a leasee could post while they had the property rented but TSRA lawyers (and apparantly Ft Worth city lawyers) agreed that it did not matter, the signs could not be posted on government owned property at all.

So, does Mesquite own the Exhibition Hall?

I am researching this one, but so far, I found out that they are giving classes for a CHL. I did not know there was a place to shoot here. Anyway, here is the link that states it. I will post who owns the building when I get that info.

So this makes it private? Or I guess non-government. Which i suppose means they are allowed to post their signs?

Bummer. So yes if it's a private building they can post whatever they want.

That's too bad, I was hoping for another fight with a municipality.

So far I am 1 - 0

And welcome Mrs HV, glad someone is here to keep an eye on Gary now, he was kinda getting out of hand......

Jay, I was feeling the same way....

Thats why I jumped in on the research so quick, despite me trying to get my closeout work done here...had to put a few mins aside to pound the RKBA pavement.

Oh well

I swore off gun shows. Only so much beef jerky and Nazi crap I can stand.:D

Seriously though, I'm buying a motorcycle, so the last thing I need is another gun expense.;)

Can't make it, though I'd like to! Tomorrow is a big 'work day' at church and we are putting sod down at the new building.
