I have a question regarding the mag release button as mine seems to "stick".

When I push the button, should the mag pop-out? At least some? As it is now when I push it, nothing noticable happens except that the magazine can be pulled out where as before pushing the button the mag was locked in place.

I thought that the magazine popped out at one time. It is not old, 6 months.

The magazine on my Mk III 22/45 has to be pulled out too. It seems I've read that it has something to do with the magazine disconnect, but I might be wrong on that.

With my Mark III if I hit the mag release button the mag will fall out about half way. Sometimes all the way out. I do clean and oil where the mag slides in everytime I clean my gun. I don't use gun oil on my gun. I use a product made by CRC it's called LPS2. It's a light weight industrial lubricant in a spray can. A friend at work said he has been using it on his guns for at least 7 years and hasen't had any problems. I have been using it for about a month and it seems to work very well. I hope this helps.
