Other than Keltec, is their anyone who makes a .40 S&W semi-auto carbine? Keltec is a little too fragile for me. Thanks

uses the same mag as the Ruger .40 cal pistols last time i looked they were available with either standard semi-buckhorn or Gjost-ring sights.

built like most Ruger guns, like a tank. but a slight bit heavier than some want.

i'm gonna try and give a link to the Ruger catalog page for these.link to ruger carbine page (http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdResults?function=famid&famid=20) hope it works.

I think a 10mm carbine would pack a good bit more punch.
Are you looking for a .40 for compatibility with a handgun?

MecTech does carbine uppers for most any 1911, or to go on a Glock frame.
You can also get a pistol caliber upper reciever for an AR-15. I'll look around and see if i can find a link to one.

Feather USA has said "coming soon" on their .40 for a couple of years now. So far (as of about 2 months ago) they do not exist. Very nice people to talk to though. Very helpful.

Olympic Arms (http://www.olyarms.com/usa.html) has a .40 AR15, as does ASA (http://www.gunkits.com/) (I believe). You can get just about anything done to an AR15 (including 10mm) from Kurt's Kustom Firearms (http://www.kurtskustomfirearms.citymax.com/page/page/42605.htm)

Beretta CX4 Storm will be offered in .40 when it comes out (late summer?)

I agree that the 10mm would be "more" than the .40, but the 10mm AR owners over on AR15.com say that the recoil is at least as much as a .223, which is one of the 2 main reasons I'd want a pistol caliber rifle. Still, it would be cool. :)

The .40 is the favorite carbine round of the FBI as well as many other LEO agencies. (MP5-40). It is reportedly quite effective with the added 5% - 10% extra velocity that a carbine puts on a round.

Good luck in your search.
