Its the Steyr TMP from a new company that bought the rights to it or something.

The Ruger MP9 was invented by the same guy who did the Uzi. He worked with Ruger for a while in the 80s I think. He said it was the best SMG ever. Obviously he is biased towards the uzi design style and 9x19mm, but I wouldnt have minded owning one.
Stupid 86 ban.
The new MP9 by BT is derived from the Steyr TMP and is a different design. Steyr sold them the blueprints and stuff. The semiauto TMP sucked because the real TMP has a 2 stage trigger where the first stage is semiauto and squeezing harder makes it go FA. When they converted it, you had a very long sloppy trigger pull to get to the SA position.

Are you thinking of the Steyr SPP (http://remtek.com/steyr/spp/spp.htm) perhaps? Not a rifle, but a semiauto relative of the Steyr TMP.

Oh yeah. I know. B&T bought the design though. I was hoping there would be a new civi B&T MP9
