Can you shoulder an AR pistol?

Does pressing the end of the buffer tube of an AR pistol to your shoulder as if it had a butt stock keep the pistol put? Never shot one, just curious.

Not really; it wasn't designed to, or the BATFE would say it's an SBR. :)

In addition to that, the sights would be far too close to your face. On the upside, the pistol I've used was easy to control, but LOUD.
