I have an old Husqvarna under-lever, double barrel, exposed hammers in 16 ga. Does anyone know where I could find a serialization chart, so I could find out the year of manufacture.
Also what is the best way to get old lead deposits out of a shotgun bore.

I don't recall ever having seen a serial number list.
There are pics of Husqvarna underlevers on the following site that run from pre-1884 to the early 1900s. After spending about 15 seconds looking at some of them I think they all look about the same.

Edited to add: Try #'s 3,8,12,26,31 and 51(a rifle)

There is a fellow who posts on the SASS Wire who goes by the handle "Strawberry Lars" who is a wealth of info. on the Husky shotguns. Look him up, and I'm sure he could help.

Mine was made in July of 1899. I plant to present it to my son in law when he gets home from Iraq in September.
Any tips on getting old lead out of a barrel?
