Manyirons: Help:what: How does a man fit them Rugers for musket nipples? Not being doubtful,:scrutiny: but they seem much to long...can ya explain to me how to go about it?

The smith makes special nipples for them. I can get more info later for you, including price.

The smith has big fingers, didn't like fumbling with #11 caps! Pretty interesting idea, to use musket caps for the revolvers.

Okay, I got word back from the smith - $20 for 6, delivered; guaranteed to fit exactly. They are precision made from 17-4 stainless steel, then hardened for durability. Exactly the same length as orginal nipples, so they fit perfectly. They come with a nipple wrench, as they need a different size.


They use flangeless musket caps, not flanged.
