Hi

just got a picture in email, and it puzzled me. Gun is certainly a FEG PA-63 in 7.65 / .32ACP, but why it has FN markings?

BTW, gun was bought in Bulgaria...

Pretty sure that FN never produced anything like it and the markings seem a little strange to me.

Usually they go: "Fabrique Nationale D'Armes de Guerre"

Or: "Fabrique Nationale Herstal Belgique"

Perhaps someone can correct me, but "Fabrique Nationale D'Armes" with "Belgique" written underneath, seems too abbreviated.

Weird. Maybe it came from a workshop in Darra or Vietnam?

I can find nothing that even hints that FN had anything to do with the AP-63. Very odd indeed. I hope some one has information , otherwise I won't be able to sleep tonight.

If it were a PA-63 the slide would have the standard Hungarian markings which it doesn't and secondly it would have a bright colored aluminum lower reciever...unless of course someone was able to fit this FN slide to a FEG lower and darkened the frame but I seriously doubt that.
