Anyone have an interest in meeting up in Maine somewher for a shoot? I know it doesn't sound very well planned, because its not. If there is interest i will do a lot of leg work.

Hopefully, I will be back in Maine in July for a family reunion. I would like to meet some of our Maine members for a shoot.

Newburgh resident here. Just moved here 5 weeks ago from Charlotte, N.C.

Down there I was involved in a get together from another board and it turned out to be one of the best times I have ever had at the range!

I would definitely be up for a meet. Got a location picked out yet?

There is a gravel pit a few miles from me in Standish, ME. Fun place to shoot, no rules. :D I'd be up for a local get-together!

I'm here in Westbrook and if the timing is good I'd perhaps swing over to a shoot-2-gether. Not the greatest shot in the world but like to plink. With warmer and hopefully drier weather ahaed, I hope to be range bound weekly so any extra practice is good.

Hey, I'm one town west of you in Gorham. :) Do you know the gravel pit of which I speak? It's a great place.

Unfamiliar with the pit you reference. Used to shoot at a pit nearby in Windham but now do all my shooting at Falmouth rod/gun.

That's a nice place, I did a few steel plate matches there last summer. PM me if you want directions to the gravel pit.

I just found this thread. I'd like to do a group shoot before it gets too cold. Tell me more about this gravel pit(specific directions). Cmon who else is in?

..Baxter State Park is one of the nicest places I've ever seen, and I've been in 47 countries!
My only complaint is that I can't carry there, and certainly can't shoot! So, It's back to the Adirondacks I go....
