since the shoot out in the boondocks. i've been lookin for something lighter to carry in the jeep while driving around the huntin hole. so i walk in to my buddies gun shop and start whining about him not havin a ar carbine i can afford, so he takes me in the back and pulls out a nice used armalite m15a4 carbine and says i just got this on trade and you can have for what i have in it if you'll quit yer crying, and take him huntin next fall. so $650 out the door. it has green furniture but i can live with that. it's a flat top, i was thinkin maybe a red dot or holo type sight what do ya'll think. 187

I have a M15A4(T) Carbine. I have a Leupold 1.5x5 on a ARMS QD lever mount on mine. Works great. At 1.5x you can use it pretty much like irons for a quick "snap", or dial it up to 5x for longer "aimed" shots. I dont have a front sight on mine, so nothing is in the way, see it or dont.
