Hey gang,

I'm trying to find the 3 Krylon colors I need to paint a stock in 3 color Desert, but none of my local stores carry it, they only have the woodland patterns.

I tried Krylon's web site, but you can't order from them. Anybody got an online source?

Get Testors "Military Flats". They have all the colors your looking for. Your local hobby shop should have just what you want. Take your cammies with you so you can match the colors.(new set is the best) Dont try to do it from memory, they have to many colors. Also get a can of clear flat lacquer. Helps to finish with it as it "smooths" out the finish, adds to the "flat" and helps with wear.

Make sure it's FIRE-PROOF after it dries. Having been in a flaming plane or two, I ALWAYS check for FIRE-PROOF stuff. Almost everything I wear is cotton. I even wore jeans when I dusted South Florida vegetables.

Brownell's has lots of camo paint for stocks. Not Krylon, I think, but they should work just as well.
