Bought an unfired P01 with 2 14 rd mags and the nsn markings for 380.00 with no sales tax. I think it was a good deal and I'm looking forward to shooting it. Has about the best grip I have ever felt.

You can change out the hammer spring with something lighter from Wolff to ease the DA pull. Consider getting a trigger job too.

I love my P-01! I paid much more for mine and could only get two 10 round mags here in CA.

Great deal. Now all you need is more Mags.
Mecgar has finally come out with 14 rounders for CZ compacts.
Pay 1/2 of what you do from CZUSA.

not too shabby a price. I bought a PCR which is basically a p01 without the rail. I love mine. Shoots great and I've never had a problem. The cz factory mags are expensive but I just bought a 14rnder the other day and it is MUCH higher quality than the hicaps I bought the gun with. the aftermarket ones (that I have) have weaker springs and the rattle too much. probably all stuff I could easily replace. the factory ones feel solid. Buy the kadet kit!! as cheap as it may be to shoot 9mm vs 40 or 45 it is rediculously cheap with kadet. Kinda pricey though, I got mine from wittaker guns for 240 after shipping and it came very quick and arrived AT MY DOOR, good people to deal with. Have fun.

Whose aftermarket mag did you buy? If it has weak springs and feels cheap I bet it is a Promag.
Mecgar is one of the best Mag manufactures out there. They are an OEM for people like Sig, Beretta & CZ.
I own Mecgars for just about every pistol I own and they function flawlessly and have never had a problem. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

Excellent! Welcome to the club, sir! Ask questions also at czforum.com.
My PO1 is my primary CCW, and the most accurate, reliable pistol I have ever owned, bar none.

I love mine as well. I put some Hakan grips on it. It is in my fanny pack and goes everywhere with me in the car.

For a trigger job I put the Kadet Kit on it and shot a bunch of .22s, maybe five or ten thousand.

Sweet price!
I'd suggest that you invest the extra $$ you saved in a case or so of ball ammo and running it through your PO1 before opting for custom trigger work. You'll be amazed at how much it'll smooth-up after a thousand cycles or so. IMO, sending a brand-new pistol out and paying a 'smith for an "action job" that amounts to wearing it in for you isn't very cost-efficient. Shooting the equivalent cost in practice ammo will both improve your skills tremendously and show you exactly where any "improvements" might actually be needed.

Welcome to The CZ Cult.
You are one of us now.
Great deal on one of the best 9MM pistols on the planet.
Now you need a stainless guide rod from Jackash Custom and some wood grips from hakan... and a holster from HBE and then you will be set.

shano,
You got an excellent price on the best pistol out there. :D
Mine didn't need a trigger job after wearing in.
MecGar mags are the ones I trust for carry.
HBE holsters are the best, bar none
