I want to get some night sights on my new XD 9. Is this something I could do myself? I cannot figure out how the stock sights get removed, and I have searched the internet for any kind of tutorial or hints.... nothing. I don't want to mess something up, install them wrong (not lined up right) or scratch my stainless slide.
So is this an easy process with the right info, or something a smith should do?

I have heard from a couple of gun smiths that a xd is one of the hardest handguns to replace the sights on I do not know if this is true or not but its what I have heard.
