Federal 240 grain Hydra-Shok
Firearm was revolver with 4" barrel

Block calibrated at 10cm and 591 ft/sec

Shot impacted at 1171 ft/sec. Bullet penetrated 16" of gelatin block and 4" into a polyester bullet arresting box. Expanded diameter = 0.566" with heavy bullet fragments found along the track of the bullet and three pieces of lead were found along with the main bullet section in the bullet arresting box.

Dirty Harry would have been proud today...

I've been loading those Federal P44HS1's, but I also have been considering the Remington 180 grain, L44MG7; SJSP, or the R44MG5 SJHP.

Any pictures of a jello critter killed with one of those?
