Hi there
I have recently picked up a miroku side by side shotgun, 12 guage, 28inch bbl choked imp cyl & full, it has double triggers and extractors. I think in the States this is known as a Charles Daly model 500? Anyway the gun is in very good condition and is destined to become my upland game piece as my BPS 12 Hunter gets quite heavy toward the end of a days pheasanting.

Can anyone help me age this little side by side? The serial number is 424421 and it has BC Miroku on the but plate and forward of the trigger guard. It has made in japan stamped on the barrels and choke / pressure stamps under the barrels. Does Miroku have a website?

Thanks in advance

NZer

NewZealander: Yes the Miroku Corporation does have a website-in fact two websites-from what I know. The first is:

http://www.miroku-jp.com/index.html

Unfortunately most of it-it seems- is in Japanese,so you might have to go on to Browning or onto the Winchester websites, for product information.

You could always try the link below, if you like:

The second one is,their UK distributers website:
