My main rifle is a tricked out Win Mod 70 XTR Featherweight that my parents gave me for my 16th birthday. The gun has always shot incredibly well, but I did not know exactly what it was capable of until today.

This afternoon I was shooting next to a good friend who is a serious, and I mean SERIOUS, match shooter. After watching him shoot string after string of sub 1/2 MOA groups I asked him to try my rifle to see what it was capable of.

The first string measured .508. :uhoh:

The second string measured .599.

The third string measured .563. :what:

HOLY COW!!

Okay, so my pride took a little beating (I was thumping my chest thinking I was King High Shooter with my 1.25" groups) but now I know that I have a true tack-driver of a rifle. That makes this ol' Texas boy mighty happy!

And no, you can't shoot it. :neener:

It has nothing to do with camping. But a "happy camper" means you're... well, happy.

That's a darn nice rifle. Too bad the user can't bring out it's potential... :D

DAL - It sounded better than "euphoric tent-dweller".

BusMaster007 - Good old 30-06.

Lucky Jim - Yep!

Feanero - Most of my guns suffer greatly from being "shooter challenged". :D
