Wonderful rifles, very slick and smooth and obviously very accurate. I have a 1911 that's near mint, 1918 mfg. and it's one the dreamiest triggers I've felt on a service rifle.

I'm going to test my new 1911 tommorrow, in near mint condition after it went through a factory repair in 26. Been stuck in the corner since the 50s and with a little cleaning came out wonderfully.

Here's a pic of my 1911....and I mean it's MINT. Crown is sharp enough to cut ya, and the stock has no dings at all. Metal is 100%.

The 1911 is one of the finest military rifles ever made. I'd rank it with the very best Mauser '98. It's incredibly accurate, even more than the vaunted K-31 carbine. And in spite of the unsupported case head issues, the action is more than strong enough to shoot GP-11 all day. And so smooth. It's one rifle I really regret selling off, but at the time it was impossible to get GP-11 up here and Graff & Sons kept delaying release of the brass.

I went shooting with it today and wow. 1.5 inch group at 100 yards with 5 shots straight off the bat. Its also extemely well balanced and fits the hands like a glove. Had very little recoil really and not that loud with earing protection. After firing 60 shots I am in love.

I load mine with 41.5gr IMR4895 behind a 168gr Sierra MatchKing, and it's a real sweetheart.
