Just got my first 1911, and saw this tool in the "Cheaper Than Dirt" catalog at the same time. Does anybody use it? Is it worthwhile? A web search found it for $26 instead of the $35 (so-called) CTD was selling it for. Yea or nay?

Eh, it's ok. Bought one when I picked up my Dan Wesson Patriot after the gun shop employee and I pretty well destroyed the plastic bushing wrench DW provided. In that capacity, the Versa-Tool works well. I am disappointed by the straight-blade screwdriver ends that are part of the wrench itself. They deformed very quickly under little stress. Otherwise, it's a handy tool to throw in a range bag for limited use away from a good set of tools at home.
Do be sure to check the size of the hex head on your two-piece guide rod, if your gun has one. The guide rod on mine is of a size not covered by the Versa-Tool.

This is going out on a limb, but will this work on Beretta parts as well?
