I just bought a Winchester 94 30-30 and want to change the sights. I want sights that allow me to shoot accurately out to 100 yards. No scopes or red dots. What do you guys suggest.
Thanks.

I'd go for a receiver mounted Williams peep sight. :D

I would go with the Williams or Lyman receiver sight. If you want faster shots, you can take out the peep to basically get a ghost ring. I would also seriously consider an Ashley ghost ring setup.

Yup, the peep site is the way to go, I love my Williams, but the lyman is also excelent.

Never used the Lyman but my 30-30 has the Williams and it is very quick to throw up and get a quick shot off. Of course... I've never been able to take it hunting due to *&@#~! Indiana laws. :p
I could easily recommend the Williams without reservation.

I have a Lyman 66A receiver sight on my Model 94 and then added a Williams Fire Sight front sight. You can look at these in Brownells and order from them or elsewhere. Prices vary and it pays to shop around. I opted for the Lyman receiver sight because I can adjust it with a coin. I think the Williams receiver requires the additional purchase of Target Knobs if that is what you want or you can get the sight with the knobs but the unit is about $10.00 or more than the Lyman. The regular Williams receiver has to be adjusted with a small screwdriver which should be no problem if you are just using it for 100 yards. The Williams Fire Sight front sight is a fiber optic sight that works really well when the sun is bright. Looks just like any other sight when you can't use the sun to make fiber optic work. I shoot cast bullets in my 30-30 in Silhoutte matches and these sights work well for me out to 200 meters. Good luck-

Another vote for the Williams Peep. I put one on my wifes 94 and she is "deadly" accurate with it. Great sight and very very reliable.
