A question regarding cylinders

I was chronoing last week and noticed that the SD for a 20 shot string of 357 mags was running in the mid 20's. Not so hot but it got me curious. I next shot a string of 20 shots out of one cylinder only and the SD went to 6.
Is this normal or should I go out and figure out which chamber is the culprit?
(I was thinking of 6 20 shot strings and then figure out which is fast and slow.)

I think this is normal. I have heard this before.

yup that is not abnormal. it could have to do with the individual chambers, the relationship between the face of the cylinder and the throat of the barrel and even the rear of the cylinder and the firing pin.
