I spent some time browsing through Cabela's Gun Library Online this afternoon. They have some neat shotguns there, although most are out of my price range.

Some that caught my eye were two Winchester 42s, one set up for skeet with a Cutts compensator and one without. The one with the Cutts was $1,000 and the other about $500 higher.

There were also several side by sides with 28 and .410 gauge barrels. SKB, Beretta and Merkel were all represented there.

I bought a gun from the Cabela's at Dundee once, but have no other connection to the company. The Online Gun Library made a good place to spend some of a rainy Sunday afternoon though.

I checked out the Gun Library at Dundee when I passed thru to visit my parents in MI. Man, they have some nice hardware there! Lots of collector grade stuff. Everybody should stop there.

I have been to the Dundee Cabelas several times myself. Got to be one of the coolest places on earth. I think I spent more time in the gun library than the whole rest of the store put together. I think the prices may be just on the high side but not unreasonable. They need to make a profit and the quality of guns they have sure cant be found just anywhere without looking real hard. I hope to get back over there this summer sometime. Real easy to get lost for a couple of hours.
