Does anyone have any idea what a savage 22/410 o/u is worth? It was my Grandfathers and he passed away over 30 yrs ago. I bought it from my Grandmother for $250 about 12 yrs ago. I would like to put insurance on it but I have no idea what it would even be worth.

My dad has one and it's a joy to shoot.

I got one when I was 15 (am now 64) and literally shot the sights off it over the years. The early models did not have a scope mount on them and I had a friend weld one on top of the .22 barrel. I have a red dot site on it today and it still is my squirrel gun. I don't know what this gun is worth, probably a buck ninety-five or so with the welded on scope mount and the slightly cracked stock ( slipped and dropped it down a rock hard frozen hill), and with no iron sights. It is worth a whole lot to me. I wished I had my grandfather's LC Smith shotgun but one of his sons inherited it. The Savages are great guns and with it having a family history just keep it and shoot it and enjoy it. Then pass it on to your children.
