I've seen it before and the same thought keeps popping in my head. He should
have just let the guy run out the door. The video looks like he is shooting so
close to the little girl when the guy makes a break for it.

The better part of CCWing is knowing when it is wise to shoot and when it
can cause more of a problem than it solves.

The guy started to run after the weapon was drawn (no issue there).
The part I have a problem with is that he followed the guy with his muzzle
and getting awfully close to the little girl while he was shooting.

Looking at the images, I see what looks like (to me) two to three shots in the door (look at glass before and after shooting) and maybe one in the glass WAY to the left of the door (see the white dot above the woman's head at the 41 second mark. Wasn't there before the shooting was there after)

I just read his post on AR15.COM. He seemed very mindful of the situation
and the placement of the people around him. That being said I still believe
that continuing to fire when the robber ran for the door (getting closer to the
child with the line of fire) is still rather risky.

That woman with the child is some kind of ignorant!
She looks right at a masked man and moves over to give him room at the counter without moving her child away from him,
and looks so shocked when the shooting starts!

The GG is an NRA instructor.

The angle of the video is such that it appears that the GG is shooting inches from the little girl. In reality, he was more than THREE FEET to the right of her.

The GG also said that the woman with the child got her CCW as a result of this incident.
