I've seen these in the Sarco ads in The Shotgun News. Apparently they're 9x19 chambered pistols based on the Tokarev that were made by Zastava. Does anyone know more about these? As I understand it Zastava is a good arms plant and the Tokarev is a solid design. Doubtful I'll get one, but they do make me curious at $190. I would think that a solid design like a Tokarev in a good defensive caliber like 9x19 would be a good truck/beater/utility pistol at the price. What do you folks think?

I think a good, used S&W revolver would be just as cheap, and far more reliable and, if it ever needed a repair, you could ge it repaired.

A HI-POINT would probably be more reliable, easier to fix, and probably more accurate, too.

Well I have that more reliable used S&W revolver at the same price (less w/ shipping & dealer fees). I figured the CZ 88 was just something odd, but I wanted to make sure thats all it was. All the Star BM owners here seem to really like theirs; those are probably a better deal.
