Ok, so I went to a shop and saw a KonusPro 6-24 x 44 scope, it was really inexpensive and I only needed a scope for a day, just to do the barrel break-in on a new rifle. So I asked him about it, he told me it's junk, you won't like it. I asked him why? he told me... cause it's junk, trust me. you won't like it!
So I bought it anyway.... figured if i didn't like it, I'd slap it on the .22. My argument was... well since I never heard of Konus before, it's probably a NEW company. Therefore they might even make BETTER optics cause they're trying to get themselves known. Heck, I'm sure at one time or another, people thought Leupold or Nikon was junk.
in any case... the eye relief on this thing is awful. but maybe it's just me, or the way I have it set. I'm not an optics expert, so I don't know what everything is called. There's a yardage adjustment in the back... ranges from 15 yrds to infinity.. not sure what it does.
Then, the front of it, where you look in, turns also... not sure what THAT does. Reticle focus maybe? then, of course there's the 6 - 24 power adjustment. would ANY of these affect the eye relief?
Thanks.
