I have a 2 tone version Black frame OD Green slide. Is this a special version or just plain jane with a little color thrown in?

If you did not buy it new but bought it used the previous owner may have
had some custom coating work done on the gun.

No, Beretta did make an OD green 92FS for a year or two. I saw one at the gun show 2 weeks ago. They never really caught on.

I like some of the OD Green polymer guns - never really got into the OD Beretta - although, someone on the Beretta forum posted a pic of one with nice wooden grips - that looked kinda cool.

I think you should look at the authenticity of this particular weapon, because this particular model was completely anodized OD Green.

I believe the barrel was still black on it, however. And, it had black grips.

I stand corrected I think, I will have to wait until I get home to be sure but I believe you are correct. The grips and the Barrel are Black and the rest is OD Green.
