I'm looking at a converted Saiga in 223. I currently have a VEPR in .223. I would like for the magazines between the two to be interchangable. I know I've read that some mags need some work to fit the Saiga and also about a bullet guide needed on the Saiga. Will these be problems?

You need to dremel the Saiga to fit the mag you want to use. Then you need to add a bullet guide. It is pretty easy. Directions can be found at www.saiga12.com's forums.
