I put a deposit on a layway for a Century pump shotty at Dunhams. Its the 12ga with a 19" barrel and bottom load/eject. Do any of you have one of these? Do you like it?

Also, its stamped, "lead shot only" does this mean that I cannot fire slugs or does it just mean not to use steel shot?

Thanks!

If it's the Chinese Ithaca 37 clone, then I have one of those. Works fine and I like it. When I bought mine, it was from a row of Ithaca clones, of which some said "LEAD SHOT ONLY" on the side and some didn't. Mine is s/n 04-XXXX, and the lead shot only versions were 03-XXXX s/n's, so maybe the newer ones have improved barrels (don't really know).

Note that the earlier imports of these had a lot of issues but newer ones seem to be better.

Are those on sale again at Dunham's? I bought mine for $99, what are they going for now?
