Taurus 24/7 rear sight question

I have a question that I have contacted Taurus about, who stated they didn't know and referred me to their office in Brazil. The person I spoke with in Brazil has no idea how to speak anything but broken English and I don't have any idea of how to say anything in Spanish except for "can I get another beer" and "where is your bathroom?", neither of which were helpful. Anyway, the question is this, I want to put aftermarket rear sights on my Taurus 24/7, which does have the dovetail cut in the slide. The problem is, no one can tell me the exact dimensions of the dovetail cut so I can order the sight I want. Does anyone happen to know these dimensions? Thanks for any help you can give.
Vic

(Needless fun fact)
Your limited Spanish probably wouldn't have helped at all. The primary language of Brazil is Portuguese. :)

Possible solutions.
1. Looking a my 24/7 it seems the sight can be removed by user.
Remove it and measure it.
2. Translate what you want to say using babelfish.com and try again.
3. Find a hot Brazilian girl in your area, ask her to call.
4. Go to Brazil.
Hopefully the Taurus lifetime warranty will cover option number 4.

On my PT 145 I could not for the life of me get my sights off. I think it needs to be heated to get them off. I have taken plenty of sight off before but this one I had to take to a gunsmith. You should be able to find a match on the size.
