How concealed is concealed?

If you happen to bend over and expose the bottom of a leather holster as your jacket rides up an inch or two, , or if someone can tell you have something under your jacket as you turn around and the butt rubs against your coat, does that mean you are not meeting the requirements of "concealed" and are now "brandishing" a weapon?

Yes, in CT to my knowledge it must be totally concealed.
FL may be a little more lax about it.

It is concealed when no one knows you are carrying a handgun at any time you are wearing one in public. What you described isn't considered brandishing. However, letting someone spot your gun may result in you ending up on the ground with someone's knee in your back and several other guns pointed at you.
If you're going to carry a concealed handgun, make sure it is concealed. If your current carry method or holster doesn't accomplish that, you need to try a different setup.

In some states I believe it is.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in some states if anyone EVER sees your gun and you end up getting busted for it, they can revoke your permit.
So much for a "right", eh?

Drjones,
You may be correct. Guess they must be more laid back in Florida.

I have a hunch it varies quite a bit not only from state to state, but city to city and county to county and individual law enforcement officer to individual law enforcement officer.
