In an era of crappy customer service and soso workmanship, Kimber sets the standard. I sent my Gold Match slide to them to have night sights installed, it was shipped back to me the day after they received it, no scratches, toolmarks or even fingerprints on the slide, and at a lower price than I had been quoted. Thanks Kimber.

thats nice.
i have a customer who bought a CDP that would tumble bullets at 20 yards. we took it apart and found only a vauges resemblance to a rifled BBL. the pistol was sent back to kimber at tims expense the bbl was replaced and the notation on the worksheet was "could not duplicate problem".
they also kept his wilson mag, which he shouldnt have sent anyway and cracked the left grip panel.

I have had great service from Kimber as well.

My front tritium quit burning on my Ultra Carry. Turn around was great and no hassles what so ever.

Broke a firing pin on my 84M, again turnaround was great and superior service.

No other Kimber has ever given me an ounce of trouble.

I have seen a Wilson with trouble and a gripe about service as well. Every gun manufacturer will eventually have a troubled gun and a P.O.ed customer. It happens.

I'm 2/0 With Kimbers CS.

#1. Bought a set of Meprolights for the P99. Brain farted and destroyed the small screw that went into the sight. The Kimber/Mepro Rep sent me out a brand new front sight. N/C. :)

#2. Kimber Custom II Sent out for refinish. They sent it back with the top of the slide beadblasted. :) It looks very nice. Got it back within a few days. :)

I have a friend whose LB was shooting very bad. The adjustable sights were moved all the way to the right by the shooter to get it on paper. He sent it back to LB only to have them knock the sight from the dovetail all the way to the right and move the AS all the way right. There was wear on the barrel at 2 and 7 vs. the normal 12 and 6. LB said nothing was wrong with the pistol. It was brand new. :cuss: :cuss:

Congrats to Kimber for great CS
